Advantages: Engaging, thought-provoking, tackled with humanity Disadvantages: Disappointing ending
...priorities and how we treat others in order to get what we want. It considers - albeit indirectly - the economic differences between different classes and cultures in what could be construed as a polemic against modern life. While his family scrimp at home Lev spends nearly two hundred Pounds on a suede jacket to wear to a theatre premiere, a jacket that eventually ends up in a dustbin; meanwhile immigrant workers earning barely the minimum wage are breaking their backs picking asparagus in the east of England while GK Ashe's (an obvious allusion to Gordon Ramsey with this character) chefs are earning upwards of £17 an hour to cook it.
I found the first two thirds of the story worked really well and relished every page even if I did find one or two minor flaws. One was that Lev didn't really engage much with the immigrant community like most...

Advantages: Very good book Disadvantages: makes you feel upset
...This is one of the best Jacqueline Wilson books I have ever read. It is about two young girls who have been friends from nursery. One day after school the two girls Vicky and Jade have an argument. Vicky storms of in the huff and you guessed it she gets knocked over and dies.
Jade is horrified, but gets quite a shock to find vicky has came back from the dead as an angel.
The two girls promise to never fall out again but people start to get suspicious that Jade is talking to herself as she is the only one who can see Vicky. This book is really good and expresses emotion and makes you feel what it is like to loose somebody you love. While reading this book I felt really bad and sorry for Jade and Vickys family even though it is just a book and it never really happened. I would recomemd this book to Jacqueline Wilson fans everywhere....

Advantages: A brilliant book Disadvantages: You can not put it down
...This wonderful, lively story by Jacqueline Wilson is one not to be missed.
It tells the story of a girl called Jade coping with her life after her best friend Vicky has been killed (after being hit by a car).
Vicky comes back to life as an angel and can talk to Jade but she starts to stop Jade from doing things that she really wants to do...
This book is the latest one released by Jacqueline Wilson and is definitely the best one written by her.
This book is worth buying and definitely worth reading.
To find out more read the book!...
