Advantages: Very cheap for surround sound, 6ch discrete mode, easy to use and well labelled, inclusion of FM/MW tuner, lots of inputs Disadvantages: Remote control - not well designed and doesn't work most of the time, no optical/coaxial inputs/outputs inputs

This amp provides me with great surround sound. It is powerful enough to power most mid-range speakers and the sound quality is very good. It is very easy ... ...labelled. Base and treble response is excellent. You can change the output level to the surround and centre speakers easily ranging from -12db to +12db. DVDs played through this amp are simulated well in 6ch discrete mode. A fan at the back operates at high output levels to cool the huge heatsink down.
The remote is a bit fiddly to use. Sometimes it doesn't work and most of the time I end up having to walk up to the amp and do it myself. ... more

The remote is a bit fiddly to use. Sometimes it doesn't work and most of the time I end up having to walk up to the amp and do it myself. The remote is probably the worst thing about this amp. Apart from that I am very satisfied with my first surround sound amp. It is solidly built and looks like it will last me a while yet.
