Advantages: fairly good sound quality.
Disadvantages: short wire and a little uncomfortable

...The Technika TA 05 headphones aren’t too bad for a cheap set of headphones. The headphones are wired with a standard jack. The wire is a little too short and does not allow a lot of movement if used with a hi-fi system or a computer. The headphones themselves are quite large cushion covered ones that sit on the outside of the ear. Although the headphones are comfortable, the plastic strap that sits behind your ears holding the headphones up can become a little uncomfortable and begin the dig into the top of your ears. The sound quality is quite good considering how cheap they are and because they are only a cheap set, they do not have noise reduction technology built into them. Advantages: Connections. Ease of setup. 1080p. Looks.
Disadvantages: Takes maybe 5 seconds to turn on.

...I bought this TV from Tesco for the bargain price of £399. It takes no time at all to setup once out of the box. Mine is hooked up to a sky box, X-box 360 and a dvd player through HDMI. This leaves a spare HDMI and scart socket so there are more than enough inputs on this set including a CI slot for pay TV such as Setanta. I have also plugged in my laptop using S-video connection with no problems whatsover. Additionaly there are all the usual audio and video connections for sound systems and home video although I havn't tested these yet. Overall this machine is intuitive to use and offers great picture (1080p) and sound quality with just about every connection option available.... Read review

Advantages: Compact, Stylish
Disadvantages: Slightly slow software

The Technika also has the outstanding idea of having the freeview service and dvd player built in making it very convinent and a good all in one. The remote is a good size and the buttons are easy to understand and you don't have to be really close to the television for it to work like with some remotes, it will quite easily work from the other side of the room. The instruction manual was also easy to understand all though this was hardly needed as the television was so easy to set up. We purchased ours from our local Tesco supermarket for £279 which i concider a very good price for the television with built in DVD and Freeview. The cable has a good lenth to it making it easy to place where you want it and still be able to reach the plug socked without masses of extention cable... Read review
