When my son asked for an MP3 player so that he could take it to school for art, my first thought was no way because they are to expensive for someone to pinch.
We were in Tesco and noticed this product for only £15, so I took a closer look.
It is a small mp3 player which is good, because you can hide it well, especially when outside, it comes with 4 different face covers and does not take batteries, so yes I bought it, on the understanding that we will see how he takes care of this one and then we will by him a better if he does take care of it. Well we have no need to buy another one because this little mp3 is brilliant.
To start with the batteries, as I have mentioned it doesn't take batteries, well it has an lithium battery inside which once charged lasts up to 8 hours, to charge it you plug the lead into the mp3 and then the USB into your computer this charges it up. Not ideal if you haven't got a computer but ideal if you are like me and are always using the computer, this way are rechargeable are used in our mp3's.
The screen is small but the writing display is very black and thick so can be read easy.
The face covers come in Black, silver, gold and purple and are very strong plastic, the clip on easy but taking off you must have nails, so they are secure and won't fall off.
The mp3 comes with head phones which are pretty good, they are not your usual headphones, these have little pieces on the ear piece which are ideal if you have small ear holes and are covered in rubber which is easy to clean if you need to. The sound quality from the headphones is pretty good, but I have to say I have had better headphone sound quality, but they are ok for my son, it sounds better on speakers, the quality is even better than the head phones.
A lot of the players come with a clip to fix on or no clip, this one comes with a clip attached and its very tough, I put it on my waist band and moved around and it didn't even budge, so this is ideal for my son while using it in school, because he would know if it wasn't there.
It is very easy to use, it comes with a small disc for your computer and is easy to understand on how to add songs to your player, that easy my son was shown once and he does it now, finding the music on your mp3 is easy to, it has files where your music is stored in to album, alphabet or no name songs. It also has play, record, stop, forward, back buttons.

Advantages: Rock solid reliability, okay looks, good selection of output sockets. Disadvantages: Awful remote, only 2.0 sound, lacking some newer features.
