I have seen and read a lot of comments on www.technoworld.com on ciao, had to read them to decide as to how would I want to write my first review, but for entirely diferent reasons the company is simply great and as I said to one of their managers on the phone earlier today, if they can work on their website, a bit of marketing and some work on sales pitch they could easily blow the biggest names away! We found www.technoworld.com by mail order initially, in computer magazines (it appears they are quite long-standing for a computer company). We tried them for a few items and were pleased with the service, prices and stock but not the delivery charges
Eventually we noticed in one of the adverts that purchases made from their web site were post-free, so decided to give it a try. The site is good, easy to navigate, secure and packed full of goodies.
If you are still unsure, there is a telephone number on the site, which puts you through to their technical department (specially for Internet orders). These guys know their stuff! We have given them some real headaches but they have always come up trumps. Once when the poor man didn't know the answer, he asked for our telephone number and said he would get back to us. Sceptically, we gave it. But lo and behold, he rang back and sorted our problem out. Only once have we had to send something back. This was a motherboard. Even they weren't sure whether it would do us because of what we had in the machine, but there was no problem sending it back, even after we had fitted it and tried it. They gave us a full refund - and we didn't even have to pay the return postage!
We always ring the Technical Help department now before we order anything. They advise on not only the best, but also the cheapest way of solving the problem. We recently made some updates to our server We tried PC World, but surprise, surprise, they were very expensive (and not very helpful). They quoted us £239 for the part. www.technoworld.com offered the same item to us for £201 with Technical support and advise, they also showed us a different make, which with longer warranty and gaurantee worked 179 quids Now a bit or two for someone who has not used them before
What does www.Technoworld.com sell?

Well, just about anything Computer orientated really. In fact, its not just solely a PC supplier,
It also sells TV`s,DVD, Stereos and Mobile phones too. You name it they have it. All arranged into the relevant product sections such as scanners, Mass Data Storage, Memory and Processors.
Not only do they have these products but an entire range of different suppliers and manufacturers who promise good, cheap and reliable products.
What is the site like?

Search facility is nice enough, as if you have a bit of an idea of what you require (say 2 GB RMA and 250GB hard drive) the site will do the rest otherwise I will highly recommend you to call their sales support line as they know their stuff

Suprisingly cheap. OK, look hard enough and you will probably find cheaper once again either email or dial their sales line and you will most probably find a better deal !! STOCK LEVELS:
Web site shows massive stock of items, I have also found that some of the items that they show out of stock as in Asus laptop specially are mostly available at better prices than other places, but again you will need to call them

A good little idea with a website with very bad color combination. A bit of work on their sales pitch and Technowrold could be the force in the market place with their products.
