It's an ok bottle if not a little butch and clumsy. I do love fancy bottles with lots of detail on them in which look pretty and girly on my dressing table. This is a bit plain for my liking and just by it's appearance, first time I saw it I knew it was going to be a daytime fragrance!

I recently wrote a review detailing how an ex partner of mine was a total metro-man spending most of his 'quality time' browsing in Boots and buying anything and everything and he constantly treated me and surprised me all the time with all sorts of stuff. Hence this review of Ted Baker Woman Eau De Toilette.

As with the Ted Baker woman herself, layers of personality make up this fragrance. The overall effect is light, fresh and easy to wear with a lasting impression. Sensational!
The Packaging:
My perfume is the 50ml frosted glass bottle with a light blue velvet cover around it's centre with holes in it. Silver Sprayer and a silver lid with engraved branding on the top. Small black writing on the front of the bottle saying Ted Baker, London on the front.

I don't know if anyone remembers a fragrance called Smitty? It reminds of that on first sniff! Anyhow if you don't what I mean, I'm saying that on first spray it does smell rather old fashioned and strong and dare I say cheap! I do like the fact that one squirt is enough for an arm so 5 squirts and your done kind of thing, its very measured and it lasts ages in the bottle.
To my nose, (I'm sat here wearing it) I can't smell any of the ingredients mentioned apart from Jasmine and an undertone of Musk. It smells very sweet and girly and although it's very layered still remains very light and airy. It calms down almost immediately on contact with the skin and settles down. Once it's calmed down it really is very pretty indeed and underrated because if you you were to try it on and judge it immediately I'm sure you wouldn't like it! Give it a few minutes and then decide!
It's not that long lasting on the skin, I would like say about 4 hours and therefore I have it down as a daytime fragrance.
Its not in your face, it doesn't scream 'I'm here' and neither does it make a statement. I've never had anyone comment on it, apart from the ex who bought it. However no one has turned their nose up and said what the hell you ponging of?!
I like it. I feel its a nice, fresh, clean, unoffensive whiff. I wouldn't go out of my way to buy it but I wouldn't not use it if someone bought it for me. I don't think anyone could hate it so if you need to buy a gift for a woman say in her 30's this is a good choice and after all it is Ted Baker lol

...much about it seeing as Ted Baker, who puts his name to the fragrance seems more into selling clothes on his website (www.tedbaker.co.uk). I did manage to find out that this fragrance was launched just over 5 years ago now in September of 1999. This is recommended for everyday wear by most websites I visited and is tested on humans as opposed to animals.
My little bottle only holds 5ml and is quite a standard shape, made from clear glass with a ... ...I mean by the pattern. Ted Baker’s name encircles the bottle just below the neck and above the pattern and it’s all topped off with a silver lid, which pulls off to reveal the Eau de Toilette inside. The perfume itself is clear and its easy to tell how much is in the bottle just by looking.
The woman who wears Ted Baker is said to comprise of layers of personality which also make up this fragrance. Apparently it’s fresh and sparkling ...

I bought Ted baker’s perfume in Dec 1999 at the Birmingham Clothes’ Show. One of the main reason’s for buying this then was a) It’s a brand name!
b) And the price was very reasonable, (only £10!)
I won’t go to much detail describing the packaging as the bottle can be seen above, it is a very simple design that looks attractive on your table, the blue pattern is actually plastic matt-like texture, similar to a grip ... ...different! My bottle has 25ml, so it is a relatively medium sized bottle. This is about 10 cm high.
This is one of my favourite perfumes, mainly because of the scent. It is really refreshing and cool. The perfume is very clean and minimal in such a way that there is no fruity or floral aroma, which I tend to look for when choosing a perfume.

Ted Baker's WOMAN perfume is a bit of a shock to the senses. It is a very thick and powerful scent, and it has a strange note to it too. In the background there is a funny smell, like over ripe papaya or something. This is what puts me off this perfume a little. I have worn it several times throughout the summer, but decided to keep it for the evening as it did seem a little bit too heavy for during the day.
I quite like the design of the bottle ... ...can see the perfume (which is transparent) through. First sniff of this and it may put you off, but let it dry and absorb into the skin, and you never know, you might just like it after all.
Not a firm favourite of mine, but it's okay for occasional wear. ...

...only been used once. The Ted Baker Women tester was finished within just a few days.
Shortly after I managed to get my man to buy me a 50 ml bottle (retails at around £30-35) and I am as addicted as ever. This is the most incredible fragrance, both fresh and sporty. It is not over-powering in any way; however it does last for hours – so there is no need to constantly re-spray during the day.
I hardly ever use another other perfume nowadays; the ... ...a perfume that can be worn to work, days off or even for that special night out.
I can recommend this fragrance to all the women out there, and it has now become a must have present at Christmas for me. I can not live without this fragrance!
The only down-side, if any, would be the price as I find it a bit expensive. It is however not over the top, and most people will definitely be able to treat themselves to this gorgeous perfume. ...

My boyfriend bought me this perfume at Christmas, and I never thought it would last me this long, as it’s gorgeous! The sweet scent lasts really well and doesn’t fade away. I've even had complements on the aroma well into the evening, after having applied no more than usual in the morning! It is definitely a good scent to be wearing on a noght out on the town as it will last you all night. It costs about £25 for a 50ml bottle and is available in ...

really stuck out from all the others because you got a good sized 75ml bottle of perfume, a 250 ml bottle of shower gel and a box of bath bombs all for £27.
I thought this was great value for money because alot of 75ml bottles of perfume cost in the region of £30 and with this gift set you were getting three things for the price I would usually pay for just a single bottle of perfume.
The only thing I thought was strange about the perfume gift set was the name of it as it was a very plain name. But I researched the internet and found out that the W stands for Woman. There is also a mens aftershave by TedBaker called M which, you guessed it stands for man lol.
