Sugar the magazine that really is worth your money
Advantages: Best magazine i have read yet Disadvantages: None
...which of course is the sugar magazine and there is also a lads magazine. The sugar magazine is small in comparison to the cosmopolitan magazine that i would usually buy. There is lots of information on the cover about the articles which are inside the magazine. They always have a popular celebrity on the front of it. This months issue has Cheryl Cole on it. Its very brightly coloured, decorated with bright green colouring and big fancy pink lettering ... ...of the most appealing. The Sugar magazine is "well designed" and has lots of pictures. Everything written in it is easy to understand and most of it is entertaining to. The lads Magazine is full of honest opinions from guys about the way that they all "apparently think" i say apparently because i don't believe every guy in the word thinks the exact same way because everyone is individual and it makes no sense. This also advices as to what way us ...

Not bad as magazines go
Advantages: Easy reading, nice to relax with Disadvantages: too many ads, quite expensive
Bliss is a fairly average teenage girls mag. It's A5 sized but comes in a large plastic package which i personally think is a waste of resources and also crackles very loudly, so if you are going to read the magazine on a bus or in a library I would advise you to take off the packaging first if you're easily embarassed like me! The current price is about £2.20, which is in the usual range for magazines of this type but is a bit steep considering ... ...usually 150 - 170 pages. The mag always comes with a free gift, sometimes makeup or a bag, but recently for some reason a lot of the gifts have been "minimags" about fashion or something. This is a big step down and has put me off the magazine a bit since the free gift used to at least be mildly interesting and the minimags are quite frankly not all that good. On the first double spread is usually an ad and then a note from the editor and contents; ...

Fake Sperm, Willies and Boobs
Advantages: .. Disadvantages: ..
...years later, to progress to 19 safe in the knowledge that you wouldn’t be that old for ages and ages. That was me at least, but with this “rebellion” comes problems. I got hooked on an American magazine called Seventeen, and realised when I turned 18 that I’d have to give it up, but boy, did I not want to. Now I’m 19 and occasionally, I’ll still buy 19. I’m allowed, you see, for another 4 months or so, but ... ...The Verdict ‘’‘’ 19 is probably aimed at 14+ year olds – if it were truly aimed at my age group, I’d be quite worried right about now – and seems harmless enough. The odd bits of advice they do give are worth following, and nothing seems to promote underage sex or eating disorders – the two things teen mags are always being blamed for. At £2.30 / month it’s affordable with pocket money, and you ...

lads Laughs and Livin'it up
Advantages: general coolness Disadvantages: Price
I have been buying J17 for about 2 years I think. I didn't like it to start with but just started to buy it again with a new look that I love over the last few months!!
I have no idea why its called J17, but that’s life!! There is a new issue every month costing an expensive £2 with 130 pages, but I still think the price is too high!!! There is often free gifts makeup usually, and are normally good. It is aimed at 14-17 year olds.
The cover is ... ...there is usually an extremely pretty girl on the front that I am very jealous of!! All the best parts of the magazine are listed on the front, which I think kind of, ruins the excitement of not knowing what is inside!!
But it always annoys me when I can't find whets on the cover inside, but J17 has got that sorted with it all labled inside- cool!!
The contents page splits the mag into seven sections: (I’m giving a brief summary so I don’t give ...
