...came across it,
MY TEFAL PRO TURBO STEAM GENERATOR.
You see my love for irons, are like a man and his love for cars.
I sat and dreamed about what life would be like with a steam generator.
I was trying to warrant spending £224.00 on a new iron.
Feeling guilty, I tried to give myself excuses for buying it.
I don't smoke, (I'd given up approx 8 years ago)
I don't go out very often, (only every Sat) LOL.
And anyway why not, if it was a car Phillip ... ...MY BABY,

Advantages: Laughs in the face of ironing! Disadvantages: Pricy, but worth it.
I have just tried out my brand new steam generator iron, and am so impressed that I really must reccommend this product!
I did wonder about spending such a lot on an iron (I paid 200!), but I am just starting a little ironing business from home so thought I could justify the expense.
Firstly the features. 150g per minute continuous steam, 170g turbo steam shot. This might not mean anything to you as it didn't to me, so let me explain. A normal ... ...stop and start. This beast of an iron makes steam continuously (which is released when you press and hold the steam button), and it is generated with such power as to turn the iron into an hovercraft!! It can also be used as a vertical steamer for tricky garments, meaning you leave them hung up and blast with steam. The flex has an auto rewind feature like a vaccuum cleaner, and the steam hose is 2.5m long. There are indicator lights in the base ...

Steaming wonderful Review ofTefal 4294114 PRO Express Turboby

Advantages: Powerful steam, Don't have to keep refilling with water. Disadvantages: None
...it so I bought the tefal one from currys at £30.
I have it now for 6 months and haven't touched my ordinary iron since. I just love the powerful steam that cuts through creases - particularly jeans. Some items can be hung up and vertical steam can sort them out. The water tank lasts about an hour of ironing and can be taken off and refilled without having to switch everything off. So continuous ironing, instead of stop, start all the time.
It does ... ...with their little irons. I watched my neighbour the other day trying to iron a t-shirt with an ordinary steam iron. Back and forwards. Took her ages. With the tefal it would just be one sweep of the iron and hey presto!
Definitely worth having. ...

Advantages: Very Fast Ironing, Heats Up Quick Disadvantages: Quite Large, Spits Water Sometimes
I brought my Tefal Turbo steam iron about 10 months ago.
Its been one of the best things I have ever brought. Speeds up ironing time by at least 50%. So you dont have to spend all day ironing.
I paid £225 for this iron from argos, and its well worth the money. It gets out any crease thinkable and makes everything extra smooooooth :)
There are a couple of bads points such as:
- Sometimes the water starts drippling out and sometimes sprays dirty ... ...big, as it includes the iron and base unit which holds the water and boiler.
The water tank on the base unit actually comes away from the unit so you can fill it up easier. You do need quite a large ironing board as it has to sit on the side.
This iron also comes with a self cleaning system, where you just plug it onto the tap and it cleans out the boiling system to stop limescale.
All in all this is a great iron and well worth the dosh. You wont ...

Advantages: SPEED OF IRONING Disadvantages: DRIBBLING WATER
At first, I was very impressed with this iron, despite some obvious downsides. It sped through the ironing with ease, reducing the time to a fraction of previous length. The obvious downsides was that I needed to use an extension lead as the power cable was not long enough, and as the iron is so big, you need an ironing board with a LARGE iron holder (fortunately you got a voucher for a free one with the iron).
Unfortunately, after a few uses, it ... ...used on the lower heat settings, even though I had turned down the steam power. I assumed this to be a fault with the iron, so took it back to Comet, where they readily replaced it for me. I continued the have the same problem, but thought I would perservere as I do live in a VERY hard water area, but then the protective material on the steam/power cable started to come detatched at both ends, so I decided enough was enough, and returned the iron ...
