Introduction: This is quite a small and light steam iron. The package says its ultraglide soleplate makes ironing up to 50% easier, and I must say it does, the ironing really feels smooth and you really have the feeling of sliding on the clothes in a very smooth way. Better still the creases are gone in not time. It does not take 2 or 3 going back to get a smooth finishing touch. But if you really have some stubborn crease the 75g jet of steam will get rid of it.
Pros: It is light and warms up quickly. It has a long a cord of 2.5m which is great as you can move around the board easily. The ultragliding seems to work really well. The rrp is around £49.99 but you can easily find it at £24.99 (i.e. Robert dyas, amazon) Cons: If like me you have to iron for a family of 5 the 250ml tank capacity is too small as it will need to be refill too frequently. Maybe it is because I have the steam on full capacity all the time but this is the best way of getting a perfect smooth finishing.

The extras I did not talk about It is meant to have a permanent Anti-Scale System, for long life, but I have not used it long enough to truthfully comment on that. The electrical power is 1900W and it also has vertical steam. It does not have self cleaning but it is something I had with my previous iron and never used so did not matter to me.
Summary:
I gave this iron a good rating overall. But the small tank which really gets on my nerve especially when you have a lot of ironing to do deserves a poor. If you are a single person this is the perfect choice. It is a good price for the quality as long as you don't pay the RRP. Thanks for reading.
