Yes, it takes forty minutes to cook a kilo of chips but they are delicious and very healthy. You don't have to feel guilty about eating chips, and they are certainly much better for you than chip shop, frozen or oven chips - and much crisper in my experience. I "forgot" to dry my chips before I cooked them - well, I didn't fully read the instructions! They were still crispy outside and fluffy inside. I wasn't too keen on the sweet and sour pork fillet but my husband loved it. My particular favourite, at the moment, is the sausage cassoulet - a lovely filling and nutritious meal without having to wait hours as you would with the conventional recipe. Yes, it is pricey, but I think it's worth the money - well done Tefal.

Can you add more details in about what it is and how you use it please so that people know what it's all about. If you do edit it then please let me know and I'll come back and have another look. Advantages: Can make fresh low fat chips and wedges, easy to clean Disadvantages: Bit big so takes up room, takes quite a long time to cook, caught on fire
