we saw the actifry on shopping channel and it looked good but i was very doubtfull if it worked - we got one from lakeland - and it is brilliant it does take 40 mins for chips less for oven chips but when you cook chips the convential way it takes about the same time as you heat the oil first then to get nice crispy chips you double fry them - have cooked scampie and they were brilliant - sausages cook all over - garlic mushrooms good - my partner tried bacon but it curled up as i advised it wouuld (but being a man new best ) but it cooked ok , not found anything yet to fault it - easy to clean and use and no smells in the kitchen
