After seeing the Actifry advertised at a reduced price of £110 I rushed out and bought one. I count calories religously and have heard endless positive reviews about the great quality and how low fat the chips are, with a tiny 3% fat in each portion.

My first impression of the acti fry was the size. It's much larger then i expected but still not huge, it fits onto my kitchen worktop nicely without taking up a huge amount of room and is neat considering it has a food capacity of 1kg. It's a simple design, a circular shape with a top which acts as a window, so you can see your chips bein turned around, cooking. This is also helpful because you can tell when they're ready, as there is no timer on the actifry. The top is removable and it has a removable bowl so it's quick and easy to clean and is also suitable to be washed in dishwashers.

The chips tasted like your usual chips but in no way greasy or fatty. They were crispy and just your average chips for ALOT less calories!

You can also cook other food in the actifry, such as fish and vegetables, which i'm yet to try but sure they'll taste as lovely as the chips!
