The online play is good and its great to fight against players all around the world and this really helps to make the game last. The offline or arcade mode is ok but the loading takes a time considering its on the playstation 3. It gets a little mundane after the fight 20 fights.

You fight and fight and fight more but is this really a long term game or just a splash in the pan and something living on it first appeal and dying a slow death.
The game has a new campaign option but the actual play of this is nothing like the old streets of rage, double dragon stlye of the past. Its boring and is something that does not complement the actual appeal of the Tekken series.
The online play is good and its great to fight against players all around the world and this really helps to make the game last. The offline or arcade mode is ok but the loading takes a time considering its on the playstation 3. It gets a little mundane after the fight 20 fights.

I think the actual fighting difficulty in the easy mode is not great as it is hard and if like me you prefer to find all the endings for the characters quickly then forget it. I feel this is one point that makes the game become really hard to want to play.
In summary the game is good it plays and looks fantastic, but takes a while to load and also its not much of an update compared to the others in the series. The game does not appeal to me for playing everytime i put the playstation on but will do when friends come over as it plays better with mates.

In each stage I unlocked items such as hats shirts to put on your character to improve their heath strength. I also earned fight moneys so then I could buy my own customisable clothing. Once I had completed a stage I then unlocked the boss’s I had just defected. Then I must use ... ...top. A new patch for Tekken 6 released 26/11/09. It allows you to see the players connection before the match starts. 1 being bad connection and 5 being excellent.
Offline Mode:
Offline mode has a variety of modes in witch to play. Arcade Battle is where you fight in the classic arcade mode. Ghost Battle is where you fight endlessly, with the computer getting harder to beat as you progress. V.S Battle if you have any of your friends round you can ...

...changed when Playstation brought out Tekken 5 Dark Resurection for the PS3, where Tekken became online! If you thought you were the best Tekken player, now was time to prove it. One on one, every man for there self. You want to be the best, you've got to beat the best. But it gets better, now Tekken 6 is coming and all us addicts can't wait to get our hands on some new meat. Its being released on the Xbox360 aswel. A down fall for Playstation loosing ...

After all this delay and waiting is the PS2 worth £300 and all the haggle to pre-order one. At this moment in time no. The graphics and speed capabilities of the PS2 are fantastic but there has been many hardware problems.
The disc drive getting jammed and the DVD player not working properly at the most common problems and these PS2's can't be replaced until the next shipment in march arrives and even then its not guarenteed.
There has been no problems with software except the lack of good titles. Timesplitters and Tekken tag are the best 2 but both are not top notch. Timesplitters is weird and somwhat uninteresting to play and Tekken Tag is really Tekken3 with a bit better graphics and a tag mode.
So far the PS2 looks like a machine for sequels like tomb raider 5 or 6 or whatever, Metal Gear 2(good game though, unoriginal name ...
Advantages: Many characters, good variation of gameplay, long lasting Disadvantages: Can get quite repetitive at times, but otherwise none!
tekkens3 and 4, but with the downside that it is only playable with Jin and also, you can only use punch, kick jump and duck... thats not so impressive. Im not too sure if this is the same in the ps3 version, but it was a dissappointment in the ps2 version, espically seeing how it was more fun in the ps1 (Tekken3) version.
All in all Tekken 5 proved to be a roaring success, with very positive responses from across the board, with mainly being given 9 or 10/10 scores. Although not beating tekken3, currently the highest selling in the Tekken series with 6.91 million copies sold, it has surpassed many boundaries in the ps2 that many developers failed to achieve. For the Beat em up category, Tekken definetly still holds the crown, and I for one am looking forward to Tekken6! ...
