Calls from mobiles can be routed through Telco saving up to 80%. They have the lowest cost internet dial up access, that I can find, in the UK. Unmetered internet access is on the way in February.

I then found out that they are a networking or referral marketing company. They will pay you to recommend others who become users of their services. It is free to join as an 'agent'. So we did. We didn't quite buy the comapny but we have bought into their philosophy because it is saving us & making us ££££'s. This may make us biased but if you try the service for yourself you'll see what we mean. We have worked out that if you can find 15 people who have the same call pattern as yourselves, the money that you can make from this will effectively mean that your own phone bill cost is covered. It is like a wholesale buyers club for telephone services.

...have now been customers of Telco for the last 3 years or so and up until the last week or so, we have had no problems whatsoever. More about that later in this opinion!
For those of you that know my usual style of writing, you may find that this opinion is in a slightly different format to usual. (I simply wish to keep this one to the point.)
Within a few days of signing up for Telco, we received a new phone socket box, which simply plugs into ... ...The latest bill received from Telco went missing in our great British postal system and was never received by us. Telco decided not to send us any form of reminder but instead simply sent us a letter from their debt recovery department stating that the bill (£22) HAD BEEN IGNORED (!) and that they will be charging us £50 admin fee plus county court fees and a county court judgement against us if the bill isn't settled within the next five days!!

Advantages: cheap for International calls, can use mobiles, good customer service, Disadvantages: don't use then for local calls use BT instead
I have been using Telco Global Communications for nearly 2 years now. They like most 'secondary service providers' have pros and cons. A primary service provider would be BT or Cable & Wireless who actually provide you with the line and infrastructure. Telco buy large blocks of time from BT for obviously highly discounted prices and are therefore able to charge their own prices for local and national calls.
This though is not where they make their ... ...to phone different countries when Telco charge below 10p for most destinations. Telco uses lines from their American parent company Viatel. These lines are older silver or bronze service copper transatlantic cables probably 10 or 20 years old.
You may not always get connectd first time with Telco or even have crystal clear speech but hey! if you want perfecton and gold standard then pay for it and use BT.

...a friend of mine introduced Telco to me. Telco is a telecommunication company which is run by a massive company called Viatel, which is a major european based network of firms.
The calls are nearly half of what BT charge and it works by dialing their swithboard and they find the cheepest route to go, even if that route is BT's. Weekend calls are around 1p a minute and peak rate about 3p. If you think dialing there number would be a pain before each ... ...It makes things very easy.
Telco do not advertise and rely on getting customers by word of mouth and Local Agents who sign you up.
This company is working well for me at the moment, but if they dont keep there calls cheeper than everyone elses i will be off. There is a lot of competion out there.

I have been using telco for a few years now, and although the calls are very cheap, I have had a few problems with their service. When using telco from an Orange mobile, orange will regularly ban the number so that you have to find another telco number to use. When I first started using the service, a new number was regularly texted to me, so there was never any problem. However, they soon stopped doing this, meaning that I have to phone the customer ... ...from my orange mobile through telco during peak time. That said, it is also worth looking at the prices other companies will give you, such as one-tel, communications 2000 and K.I.T, a telephone company designed for service people and their families who may spend time abroad. K.I.T. only charges 6p a minute off peak to call France, and rates are equally competitive for many other countries. To summarise, I would use telco rather than no cheap calls ...

Advantages: All round great quality first rate service and fantastic rates. Disadvantages: None that I can think of.
I joined Telco just over a year ago and am extremely happy with the service to date. I even get ridiculously cheap mobile calls - 3.5p/min PEAK RATE. I can even call my uncle in Australia for just 6p/min from my home or my mobile. I have an Orange contract and this service is available to all those with Orange, One2One, or Virgin contract phones. It is also available from Virgin Pay As You Go.
Telco are one of the best all round providers in the ... ...minutes at the weekend, all your national calls at Telco local rate and a further 20% off all your international calls.
Wowwwwww! I just wonder what they will come up with next. It costs nothing to join and there is even the chance to get your entire bill for FREE. ...

I have used these cards now and then, and found them excellent value for calling abroad, last time I used the card (around 1 year ago)USA was 6p per min and Germany 9p per min. The best thing about the cards are that you can use them by dialling a 0800 number from any phone. Thus I use it from my contract one2one mobile phone and save an absolute fortune. You can call inland too for around 3-5p depending on the time of day so its good value!
The bad thing is sometimes the networks is busy and you have to try a few times to get through, but I think TelcoGlobalCommunications are getting better when it comes down to connections.
The worst thing is if you think you have been over charged or charged for a non connected phonecall. Most of the time you have to phone up the customer service and they will look into your call records to see if ...
