I have used these cards now and then, and found them excellent value for calling abroad, last time I used the card (around 1 year ago)USA was 6p per min and Germany 9p per min. The best thing about the cards are that you can use them by dialling a 0800 number from any phone. Thus I use it from my contract one2one mobile phone and save an absolute fortune. Most newsagents in London sell prepaid phone cards or you can call Telco direct on 0800 594 1000. You can even become an agent for them and earn commission on sales. One trick Telco uses is to charge one price if and only if you dial an 0845 number- this is only mentioned in the small print. They may have changed this now- but watch out. The good thing about lo-call 0845 access, is it can be cheaper by a few pence if you are dialling from a BT phone who charge 1p a min at the weekends, if you make that number your best friend number on friends and family you can then get 0845 for 0.7 pence a min, so calling abroad using 0845 may be cheaper from a BT line it may save you some money. If you phone them up they may also give you a 0207/0208 number to dial from (for those whoes service providers get funny about 0800 numbers)
Advantages: Definitely the cheapest and a good standard of service Disadvantages: Has had some problem with connection recently, but isn't a frequent problem to cause inconvenience
...like just-dial.com but service wise, Telco is much better, and may act as a complement to each other cos they would work out cheaper depending on what time of day of days of the week you are making calls. Both service I definitely recommend and would surely guarantee that it is the cheapest, at the very least for calls to HK. One more thing is that the calls you made are debited from the credit on your card which are told to you in amount and number ...

I bought the telco savers card because I do travel a lot and need to make calls while on the road and it is not always easy to use a mobile. And I found the telco card very good value.
The card always works, and the customer sertvice line is very helpful if needed.
The instructions to use the card is very clear.
Over the last few months I have bought about ten cards. My only problem if I have one with the card is that I wish more shops would stock ...
