Phillips Tripple CD145
Review of Philips CD 145 by steph1705

Advantages: One Phone socket needed. Built in Answer Machine. Excellent Reception.
Disadvantages: Need to read manual a couple of times to ensure correct set up.

I bought the Tripple Phillips CD145 Phone in Black. I bought these phones about 4 months ago and have been really impressed. They are really easy to use and also to set up. The sound quality and the reception are exceptional, I have not had any interference with mine. I only have one Telephone point and so this make it ideal as the Main base set is the only one which needs to be connected, the other two simply need plug sockets, ideal to place anywhere ...
...to mis-dial and the screen is large enough to see the numbers dialed. The manual is a little bit long winded but after reading it once or twice it does make sense. Also has a built in answer machine, which i have not used yet, but the manual does explain clearly how to use it. A great buy for the price. ... Read review

Philips CD445 cordless Triphone
Review of Philips CD 4454 by Phoneuser

Advantages: OK if just used with the handset with easy to use recorder.
Disadvantages: Very poor hands free sound quality and volume.Range not good.

The CD445 has a lot going for it but I will still be returning it for the following reasons. The range is not as good ie. would only work well through one block wall up to approx 6 mtrs. I use hands free a lot but the maximum volume , both on hook and the handset is far too quiet (and "tinny") -unusable. On hook dialling is annoying because the base unit slides away with each press of the keys. The display uses a large font with time and date ... Read review

Expensive, bad quality, bad service
Review of BT Home Hub by luludiafegari33

Advantages: none
Disadvantages: all

...£70. I will never recommend BT to anybody, they lie to you so you join the service and when you are in, they will overcharge you -if you do not check bills you more certainly will be paying more-, they will lie to you, they will make you spend hours calling them and talking to them passing the call to 'another department' (the costumer service nightmare, had been in the phone at least 1 or 2 hours every time I called) until you are very tired and ...
...they completely ruin my day. BT is a complete delusion, I thought they were a serious company, but indeed they are not, I will never ever ever use their services again in my life, If you were thinking to choose them, strongly recommend you don't do it unless you have a lot spare time and a very good lawyer. ... Shiny and stylish, love it.
Review of BT Graphite 1100 by spinklespoo

Advantages: Looks nice, works.
Disadvantages: Falls off the base

...looking so looked at the BT Mango, but every review said it was tacky looking. Then I saw the BT Graphite and thought it looked pretty stylish. We then thought we should get the twin so we could have 1 in the bedroom too, I have no idea why seeing as it's a pretty small flat. But anyway we bought the twin. I wanted the one with the answerphone but accidentally got this one, which my boyfriend was happy about. Sorry, I'll get back to the phone. It ...
...ringtone and volume of both the handset and the base which is pretty handy if you don't like really loud ringtones. It seems quite quiet but my mum says that's probably just because I'm so used to talking on a mobile, not had a landline for the last 4 years. Other than that the sound quality is good. Overall I like it. The other review says the distance you can travel from the base is only a few metres but that's not the case with ours, although ... Read review

A great phone for an extra
Review of BT DUET 20 by calumneilson

Advantages: Small, simple, easy to use, cheap
Disadvantages: No extra features

The BT Duet 60 is a simple, small and cheap phone. It is very easy to set up, you just plug it into the phone socket and it will work. You do not need to go through any fancy installation things like with many newer phones. It is easy to use because of its simplicity and lack of features. It doesn't have answer phone or much else except a phone, so it only has the number buttons and a few other buttons. The sound quality is fairly good, but there ...
...is very cheap, you can probably get one for £10 which means it is great for a simple extra phone in emergencies or if you have cordless phones that do not work when there is no electricity. Overall this phone is very cheap, simple, small and clean, you can also mount it on the wall which is a great bonus. ... Read review
