Cisco IP-Phone 7941

Advantages: works well, has all features expected from a modern phone, easy user interface
Disadvantages: head phones are very expensive

I have this phone on my desk and it is really excellent. I don't have any problems. It looks like new and it is used every working day. The user interface is very easy and intuitive. It's a cordless life for me with the Siemens CS385!

Advantages: It's got all the features I want from a phone

Hands free and a chirpy ringtone

Review of BT Freestyle 225

Best value phone buy ever

Advantages: Cheap, easy to setup (just plug it all in and you can't get that wrong)
Disadvantages: Display isn't backlit (being picky)

I bought this little thing as a cheap handset to stick onto a voip adaptor. I wasn't expecting much but it does more than I thought it would. It is constructed of good solid plastic and so far hasn't broken or cracked (I've dropped it a few times onto hard tiles) It works well as a hands free phone Unlike the other review, I get hours of talktime from the battery and the range from handset to the base unit works well for me as I can wonder around ...
...It comes with caller ID that works just fine via my service provider and via BT. The only complaint I have is that because the LCD isn't backlit it can be hard to see the screen prior to picking up the handset. But that is being picky. For £15 I don't think you can get anything better. I started with one, I now have 3 in the house. Why pay for anything more expensive, after all it's just a fixed line phone! ...
