The iDECT X3i differs from the X3 in that it has a built in answer phone. Apart from that they are identical. The Good: - price - good display, nice features - good range. 300 meters seems correct. - base works when power is off. Remembers memory afterwards. - speaker on the base and handset ie. handsfree - not affected by computer or wireless modem devices. The Bad: - no keypad backlight for handset. - base and handset cannot be used at same time for one call. So if you pick up a call with the base, you cannot then use the handset to also talk. ...
