GOOD HOUSE PHONE

Advantages: looks smart, great cound and picture quality
Disadvantages: haven't discovered any yet

We have only just got these phones for our new house phone. I must say they're very good. Much better than the old ones I had. A great thing about tem is that they suprisingly look very smart. Phillips CD445 Cordless Digital Phone

Advantages: Stylish, Good Answerphone and Great Price
Disadvantages: Poor Battery Life

Good Phone for a great Price but very poor battery life I like this phone very much and bought it for around £30. A great price for the selection of features you get in comparison to similar phones in the same price range. Firstly I would recommend looking closely at the specs of any phones you get. Advantages: Slimline, glossy, good looking, lightweight, functions and easy to use

hear any tune on your home phone

Advantages: record anything as a landline phone ring-tone mp3/cd etc
Disadvantages: rather small

This philips phone comes in a box of two handsets, one of which has an answer machine in the base station, and the second one is an extension of the main one which doesn't have to be plugged into a phone socket, just a plug socket. The usefulness of this is that the second handset can be placed somewhere where you may not have a phone socket i.e kitchen etc the main reason I bought this phone set is because it let's you download ring-tones to it ...
...be downloaded from a 0906 philips number costing £1.50 min and not saying how long it lasts. So the way round this which was the main feature for me when choosing this phone is the option to record personal melody/sounds where you can choose any mp3file/cd/sound or whatever(cow mooing etc) all you have to do is have a sound playing and put the phone next to speakers and record as a personal melody, and then set it as your ring-tone and there it plays! ...
