A mobile in your home
Review of Panasonic KX-TG 8220 by patwanet

Advantages: Super call quality, innovative features, answering machine
Disadvantages: Design issues, over-sized keys,

...into the home, and the Panasonic KXTG-8220 is an example of a device that's bridging this gap. One could say we're rather moving backwards by 'advancing' in the wrong order, but that's an opinion I leave for you to decide upon. The 8220 is similar in specification to the 820X models of Panasonic's KXTG series, with the addition of an answering machine which can be controlled from the base station. I bought mine for £51 from Tesco, although this ...
...level, high class phone from Panasonic that will suit either the home or office. A range of innovative and useful features, both functional and esthetic make this a good investment from a productivity point of view. I have some concerns with some of the design factors, particularly the weak base holder and the over-sized keys, but no doubt some folks would not find this too much of a deal. Personally, this phone is more than I need, and the keypad ... Read review

Convenient cordless phone!!
Review of Panasonic KX-TG 1103 by pinkelephantuk

Advantages: Digital cordless telephone, can have conversations in privacy!
Disadvantages: Quite expensive, crackly if earpiece volume on high though can change

...annoyed with myself for choosing Panasonic again, because we have a telephone fax machine at home, which we had some problems with. So I was scared that I would get problems with this Panasonic product, because it was the same company. The in-call sound quality wasn't clear when we first used the phone, and I have realised that if you lower the incall volume a notch or two, the sound is clearer, and doesn't compromise hearing the voice on the other ... Supersonic, not panasonic
Review of Panasonic KX-TG8222 by xxsupergirlxo

Advantages: Pretty, easy to use
Disadvantages: Hard to install

These phones are great! I've had them not too long now, maybe a week and they're fabulous. They have a lot of features - Call ID, speaker on the base, big buttons, a choice of quite a few interesting ringers, background choice, volume control, handsfree, answer machine and sms (text messaging). When you buy the base, you can buy the other phones - as many as you want without heightening your REM count, good for someone who wants a phone in every ...
...phones are very simple to use, and are aesthetically pleasing - shiny and black with an orange glow around the keys, and they're curved and compact, looking more like a mobile than a home phone - what more could you want! My only disappointments are the fact that the phones are so shiny that you get fingerprints on them all the time, so you have to polish them frequently if you don't want them all fingerprinty. My second disappointment is that ... Read review

BT Converse 1100
Review of BT Converse 1100 by thedunn1

Advantages: Easy to use in every aspect
Disadvantages: Could have longer cord

Our small office has recently switched to these phones and they are easy to use and reliable. Receiver is comfortable and easy to hold, and sound quality is good. The number buttons are a good size. There are three buttons along the right hand side - recall, secrecy and redial. Recall can be used to divert a call to another handset in just the touch of a button. Secrecy makes sure the caller cannot hear you and has an indicator light so you can ...
...to access the last number called. There is also the option of using a headset with this device. The cord could be longer but does not generally tend to pose a problem in everyday use, I just like walking around whilst talking! These phones are easy to link to a switchboard and come ready angled to enhance the user's comfort. ... Read review

Phillips CD 445
Review of Philips CD 4454 by makro74

Advantages: HD sound, good calling quality and durable
Disadvantages: Battery life, colour and buttons a bit bland

For a while I was on the hunt for a stylish yet good quality phone, and I could not get past the price differentials for the cordless phones on the market. All the really sleak slim and sexy tyoe phones weren't around for very long, yet they all lacked in quality. This set however, is excellent if quality is what you are after. When you listen to the HD sound, you can leave it one handsfree and clearly converse with the caller almost as if they are ...
...a typical dect phone together with a 15 min anwering machine. It is limited in ringtones, the extended features, but for quality of use, ease of use and value for money it is an excellent choice. I intended to buy 2 possibly 3 handsets within a set budget, and I ended up getting 4 with excellent quality of voice. Battery life, however, could have been a bit longer. ... Read review
