Advantages: Stylish, easy to use, outstanding battery life Disadvantages: Don't expect the colour screen to be like your mobile phone!
...online and spied upon the Siemens Gigaset C475 Triple available for the bargain price of £50 - so far as I was concerned this set had my name on it, and it was duly snapped up. Setting Up This was relatively straightforward - firstly I inserted batteries in the handsets and decided where I was going to locate the main base station, then I connected the base station to both the mains and the telephone socket, and charged up the main phone. The ... ...say the sound on this Siemens set is marginally better than that I got on the BT Synergy set. There is a useful loudspeaker function and each handset also has a headphone socket for 2.5mm jack connectors, which means you can be as public or as private as you want when making a call with the set. I have also used the phone to send text messages on occasion, although given my mobile phone contract gives me a large number of texts included, this is ...

...if anything goes wrong then siemens will replace it free of charge.
They are really great phones, they are the most reliable cordless phones that we have ever had, in our house the phone is hardly ever not in use. Constantly from 6 in the morning until 11 at night. The joys of having teens:)
But these phones have managed this type of use just fine. The battery in the handset seems to last for ever! The phone is in use all day and it still has two ... ...the sound quality with these siemens is just fantastic!
The microphone is also great, calls on the other end are always extremely clear, infact clearer than any corded phone we have used.
The phone can go up to 300 metres from the base station. They work great in the garden, sometimes you get a bit of a crackle if you go too far. But the coverage throughout the house is just perfect. every single room is fine and our house is quite long and most ...

...different ones, he liked the Siemens CS385. As the area where the phones are based has fairly loud music playing in it and I was on the phone to my sister who'd just had a baby a few hours before and I wanted to make the most of the extortionate amount the NHS would be charging me for ringing my sister, I capitulated (a lot faster than I would have usually, that's for sure) and we left Tesco with two Siemens CS385 phones. There was an offer on where ... ...~Answering Machine~ The Siemens CS385 has an answering machine built into the main base unit. This will record up to 25 minutes of messages and you can access your messages from the base unit or either of the handsets. ~Battery Power~ This phone is apparently an ECO Dect phone, which uses up to 60% less power. It has up to 20 hours talk time and up to 240 hours standby time. Which means that it doesn't have to be in the base unit all the time, which ...
Advantages: Smart and energy efficient too Disadvantages: Haven't found any yet
...a large display with the Siemens Gigaset AL285 on the 'end' of the product island. Now I know from having worked in retail that the 'ends' are used for the hot promotions and the Siemens was reduced from £69.99 to £39.99 which made it look attractive. It wasn't on the top shelf of the end, that was reserved for a more expensive phone they were keen to sell, but nevertheless I felt it warranted closer inspection.
I have no doubt that the keen reduction ... ...looking for a reasonably priced digital phone with a good range for use around your home. Siemens also claim it is energy efficient by saying there is a 100% reduction of transmitting power in standby mode and 60% less power consumption due to energy saving power supply. ...
Advantages: The ability to see who is ringing you Disadvantages: Does not always seem to charge when in the holder
This review is for the BT Freestyle 225 cordless handset telephones. Setup --------- These phones are usually very easy to set up and I would have a glimpse into the actual guide you are provided with before fiddling with the phone. You need to first set yourself a ring tone which you can use because they have a selection there but only four or five so that is the first point you need to do. You then have to load in all the numbers you want stored ... ...is done you need to make sure you leave the phone overnight before using for battery purposes. Design ------------ They usually come in silver but my phone came in black and the front of the phone there is a little LCD screen which is always giving you information for what you are doing. In the LCD display you have this sort of muddy green colour for a background and black writing displayed on to top of this. Next you have all the buttons before ...
