TellyAddicts always conjures up images of my childhood, sat in front of the goggle box with my mum and dad it was always strangely addictive, religious viewing. Back in the days when Noel Edmond's was the biggest thing on television two teams would pit their wits to see who had the most extensive television knowledge across the decades. Thanks to the wonders of DVD technology TellyAddicts is now available in interactive DVD game format so now I can be part of the show. And what better time to play than with family and friends round?
On putting the TellyAddicts DVD into the player I am treated to the original theme music from the show but disappointingly not the original credits. Noel Edmonds greets me looking a little older and grey haired but otherwise much as I remember him in his heyday. I am asked to choose between one team ...

TellyAddicts is a game for the Wii that tests your knowledge on TV trivia from hundreds of TV shows. It features TV host Noel Edmonds, who is currently well known for presenting "Deal Or No Deal". The game is for two people, or more if you're playing in teams. You take it in turns to answer questions on TV shows that are randomly chosen. There are six rounds to each game. Most rounds are easy to guess if you don't know the answer because there are three answers to choose from. There is one round which is almost impossible to win unless you are totally sure of the answer as you have to state a year. The game does give you the decade but you have a one in ten chance of guessing right unles you already know!
The game is rated for 3+ although I don't think this is a good age as, although there is no swearing, nudity or violence, the game ...

i bought this game as it was on offer in Zavvi along with another game i wanted so i thought i would give it a go being a bit of a tellyaddict myself.
very simple to use you can either play one player or two player where you take turns.
The first round is called screen test where you chose a screen under which is a question with three possible answers, you choose three screens in this round,
you then move onto the classic clips round where you are played a short clip of a programme then asked two questions about it
then its onto the spotlight round where you have ten seconds to answer each question, there are five questions in this round
the reveal round comes next where there is a fuzzy picture that gets slowly revealed and the faster you answer the more points you get.
