After my husband had been involved in a car accident 3 years ago, we have had endless sleepless nights (at least he has mostly) due to him not being able to find a comfortable position to rest in. I through various other complaints,(prolapse of the womb, being overweight, tired aching legs and arthritic hips and knees) have woken up with a pins and needles sensation in both legs and have crawled almost to get downstairs each morning. "Why dont you buy a Tempur mattress?" our friends all ask. The cost was probably the major drawback especially as my husband is on so many pain killers and attending so much treatment for his constant pain, that he has had to lessen his working week. I have almost doubled my working hours to compensate the wages. Then one morning the postman brought a little bit of financial good news.
Within an hour we had gone to our local Tempur dealer and he had suggested that we have the mattress for 5 nights and report back as to wether we would keep it or return it. The mattress was delivered by 2 burly men ,and my 2 sons took over the job of getting it upstairs.
Bed that night was different ! If you can imagine climbing into a tub of butter then you are on the right track. Oh what heaven, and the next morning not a pin, not a needle,not an ache or a pain. Both my husband and I have had really good nights since then and I can only thank Tempur and the postman for making this possible. Only one problem remains, my husbands snoring!You see he never used to sleep very much before our Tempur and now he snores the night away. I will work on that one.
If you have uncomfortable nights and you can afford the outlay, "go buy a Tempur" I'm sure like us that you will think it is money well spent.

Is this the same as memory foam? Do you find your mattress very hot? We have a memory foam mattress and I get really hot when next to it and have to flap my duvet to cool down.
