This is probably one of the most playable games on the game boy colour. It is a cut down version of the excellent Smash Tennis and it still keeps me occupied on the longest of train journeys. There are four levels of increasing difficulty, well it seems to me the changes between the levels are the speed of the game and the amount of swerve you can get on the ball. It is very basic game play but addictive all the same. The graphics are a bit basic and the colour only stretches to the grass. The sound is good for a game boy with crowd noises and shot sounds. The cartridge cost £15 and has 3 other games on which are rubbish, but it’s worth getting the tennis game separately.

Sounds like a review of Tennis on the Gameboy not Mario Tennis on the GBC.
