I already own 2 "normal" tents, but went on a 7 day bike race where i needed to put up and take down the tent 7 days in a row. I splashed out £45 for a "pop-up" tent. The thought of it errecting itself was very appealing!! Sceptical at first, I popped the tent out of it's bag and pegged it down with 4 pegs.....job done......in about 60 seconds. ...It has vent to help reduce condensation, although some did form, but then i've never been in a tent where there was no condensation!!! The one I have is a 2 man version which accommodates 1 person + luggage with ease and would accommodate 2 people with some luggage. Disadvantages: Poles incapable of withstanding UK August weather, No spares, No response from Coleman

...badly. We scrapped our holiday. Coleman have not responded to emails and my local store tells me they don't hold spare parts like poles now they are made in China. Also they no longer make this tent. To start with we thought this was agreat family tent and were very happy, but this is the first time in many decades of camping in all sorts of conditions I've had a tent fail so badly and customer service is non-existant so beware! ... I bought this tent from a discount online store. This is a tunnel tent and relies entirely on being properly pegged to stay erect but once it's pitched I found it more stable in the wind than any dome. On my own I can have it up in 5 minutes. ...weather is so unpredictable. You could easily cook and spend a few hours in there without feeling uncomfortable! It's also good for cycling as bikes and luggage can be stored in the front and it only weighs 4.2kg which is a good bit less than similar makes. Inner tent has a lot of vents; good for summer but if it's cold take a warmer sleeing bag. Also, mine had a leak just off the seam in the fly sheet where it looked like the tape hadn't been laid ... a very good tent, easy to put up, can be done in around 20 mins. can stand up in it so it helps when getting changed. holds six so ideal for a family. but there is one problem - do not use it in strong winds! we went camping, as a family. me, my brother, my mam and dad, my nan and taid. I bought this tent for a 2 night stay for just myself to use. I bought it from Go Outdoors for just £25 although other websites and shops sell them at a little more than this, most of them retail at around £35. ...right, it was easy to put up and didn't take long at all. For a two man tent it has a good sized storage area or porch at the front. The ground sheet in the porch is also sewn in which saves extra faffing once the tent is up. I could easily lie down in the tent and another person would easily have fitted in there with me too.
