Terminator 3 the redemption is the latest game to expand on the growing series of the terminator products.
Storyline The year is 2034 and you are a terminator model 850 sent to terminate john Connor the leader of the world wide resistance, however a problem occurred in your mission and you were captured. Now you cup has been reprogrammed and now your new mission is to enter the time displacement field, travel back to 2003 and ensure the survival of john Connor and Katherine Brewster. But the machine stopping you from protecting john Connor is the T-X which will stop at nothing to complete her mission so get ready to terminate anything that stands in your way.
Gameplay On the beginning of the level you are mostly on foot, when you are on foot you can just shoot the enemy or you can hammer the enemies with various combo attacks, when you learn these you can take out the power cell batteries and use them as grenades or steal their weapons and shoot their heads off, however when you take damage your fake human form fades away and your powerful interior starts to show, but when you are low on health or energy just look for a energy source or a T850 to charge up your own power battery. Always you will have to drive some type of machine to carry on through the level and you then have the power to crush lots of enemies at once and the bonus thing is when the machine is almost destroyed you can just jump on to a new and fresh machine, and sometimes on a mission you have the control of a big and heavy machine like a tank or helicopter or something like that, but basically it just run around and shoot stuff up and try to get to your objective location without being killed which in some missions can be quite a challenge but with the help of so many thing the missions will not be such a great challenge. When you finally finish the mission you get terabytes by either completing the mission in the quickest time possible the quicker you are the more terabytes you get, by terminating enemies you get terra bytes, by finding new areas gets you terabytes. and these terabytes can be used to upgrade your character with more vision time, increased damage with vision time, time to recharge your vision time and the amount of energy you can steal from enemies and resource points. Also with the terabytes you get an overall score and when reached to a certain amount you get artworks and cheat modes which will make the game a lot easier.
Overall This game being 20 pounds is well worth the price and it will give your more info into the terminator universe so get your red eyes powered up and get ready to terminate.
Advantages: Super graphics, Relates reasonably to the films Disadvantages: Game is a little short and loading times are quite long
...unless you are a true Terminator fan. It is the same all the way through. It has the exact storyline from the film so you can predict what happens and you can only be the Terminator, not John Connor which is an improvemet which could be made to the game. (Arnie takes ages to die too). There is a freeplay mode though so if you are stuck on a mission you can easily get past it. Although there has been a T3 game already released, it is truly outclassed ... ...into the Terminator universe than anything before it.
The plotline is very basic, go back in time and ensure the survival of John Conner and Kathrine Brewster, yet the game itself isn't. Ranging from the various car chases to the gruelling gunfights this game remains true to the Terminator style in every way possible....Sound easy?....guess again...this game will drive you to the point of self termination as it's so hard! yet you still want to go ...

look else where Review ofTerminator 3: The Redemption (PS2)by
seadevil
Advantages: good graphics = gameplay Disadvantages: difficulty level and story
This game is the worst terminator game to date. The story starts in the ruins of the future. You must fight your way to the skynet bunker where you are sent back in time. Then you must locate your objectives and protect them. Then you are sent forward in time to a ruined earth where the terminators dominate. You then battle your way back to the new skynet bunker to travel back in time again. Then you protect your objectives to complete the game.
... ...have to play as a vechiles for the entire second levels. There really isn't a story and when you do pick the story up, it seems so boring. The gameplay is brilliant. Its not to complicated so it makes the game easier to handle. The graphics are brilliant as well. Much better than previous games. It look very real. The sound for the game is a bit to much. So many sounds happen that it doesn't quite fit. And the music is the same as the other games ...

...the events of the third Terminator film, Terminator 3: The Redemption slips players into the black biker boots of Arnold Schwarzenegger's reprogrammed killing machine, The T-800. Featuring 14 various missions across four different chapters, the game also boasts vehicle and character-based combat from a third-person perspective in large 3D environments. Traditional rail shooting, intense action-oriented driving, and some highly difficult reflex-busting ... ...After the last few Terminator releases bearing the InfoGrames/Atari name, the subtitle of this most recent effort seems more meaningful than most. Sure, it's referring to the redemption of the future performed in-game by John Connor and that metal Austrian guy, but it's also a plea to fans to give the series another chance. Really. It's true that, in many ways, Terminator 3: The Redemption is as single-minded as its namesake, with gameplay of limited ...
