...but you get used to it after a while. So many different crash zones in career mode, they are the best thing in this game but so is the NOS. The races are interesting because the computer cars use there NOS wisely and efficiently. I can see myself still playing it when Xbox goes out of fashion. Anyways my final comment is about the racing genre. I think this is probably the best racing game out as well as Need for Speed : Underground 2! My Rating: 9.9/10 YOU MUST BUY THIS!... Read review

Advantages: Very Fast Sense of Speed, Fun 'Takedowns'
Disadvantages: Almost impossible to complete certain sections (burning laps)

...Racing games as a whole are usually very good becuase they appeal to racers of all ages and are very good fun, especially in multiplayer! Burnout 3 has managed to surpass all expectations of the average racing game and part of this is due to the awesome sense of speed that you'll fell while playing the game- this is simply the fastest game I've ever seen. Added to these exciting visuals is the new feature of 'takedowns' hence the name where you can ram you oppenents into the wall, van, car and any other way in order to get them out of the race. Included in this feature is better Computer A.I meaning that if you take a computer down then they will actually come looking for you and attempt to take you down if they catch up with you! Now in single race mode the above is true but the computer keeps a running score of just your single player stats and you can earn extras through this mode as well unlike in burnout 2. The multiplayer game has several options Team crush is one. Team up with your mates and cause as much devastation as you can. Double impact. Fight your friends to see who can cause the most destruction this is great fun with friends. Party Crash Cause as much damage as possible at crash junctions this again is so much fun you’ll be playing for hours. Also a new feature is the online play.
