Advantages: get your photos developed without taking them in store, clubcard points, speedy delivery Disadvantages: can be slow to upload
I first used Tesco's online photo development site a year and a half ago to develop my holiday photos. We'd been to a family wedding overseas and then onto our summer holiday so we had in excess of 100, very precious, photos to develop.
I decided to use Teso online as I had always previously taken my (disposable) camera into the store to get my pictures developed and had been very pleased with the quality of the prints and service I had received. ... ...and earn points in the usual manner.
The site itself was pretty easy to use, I had to register first, which is standard for most sites, and this was simple and didn't take alot of time up. I then had to upload my photos into an album. This was the time consuming bit. It did take a while to do this, but I think this was due to a) the sheer volume of photos I wanted to develop and b) the internet connection. Advantages: Good prints Disadvantages: Bad service, poor communication
I have used TescoPhoto.com about 5 times. After each order I say 'never again' but I always seem to give them one more chance. Their website is easy to use but beware - if you want duplicates, you must keep saving your changes because as soon as you go to any other area, it loses the information and you have to start from the beginning. I work regular so decided to have the photos delivered to my local store. Three of the orders were 2 days later ... ...other blokes family snaps. Hence, I have found myself paying more money for photos I simply did not receive. After 5 attempts they have not got one order correct so I'm not going to waste my time with them anymore.
I would not recommend TescoPhoto.com to anybody!!! ...
