    Advantages Advantages Cleans hands perfectly.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None.

Hand gels are what I always use as I do not have a good immune system and I easily have infections if I am not careful and clean my hands on a regular basis, especially while I am outdoors as I often pick up most of my infections from outdoors, where a lot of germs seem to be around. Since I have been a little run down, I have been using hand gel much more often and going through bottles much more quickly. I have been using them tons more so that I do not pick up infections more than usual and so to keep me more healthy so that I feel better real soon. It comes in a transparent little plastic ... more

Advantages Advantages Cheap and easy to come by

Disadvantages Disadvantages Smells bad, sticky, dries out skin, lid breaks easily

I bought the Tesco Antibacterial Hand Gel when my daughter was born as she was born early and it was flu season. The gel proved indispensable whenever strangers touched her, which they often did, even though I always carried her in a sling against my body when out and about. Then I just carried on using it because we'd stocked up on them a lot at home and they do only cost 75p for 50ml plus there are Tescos everywhere nowadays so easy enough to pick up. When I finally ran out of the stuff I decided to stop using it altogether because it really smells horrible, and also baby was getting big ... more

I actually own several bottles of this type of stuff hidden in handbags and places so I'm never caught out nowadays though some are better than others. I mean they make claims to work and lets face it we don't know for sure if they work or not but what I have found is that a lot of these types of product are sticky, heavy and leave hands dry hence why I keep buying new bottles to try! The Packaging: Handy 50ml clear plastic bottle with a flip top lid to the top of it concealing a small hole. On the front I am clearly told it is Tesco Antibacterial Hand Gel and that it kills 99.9% bacteria and ... more

I have been using antibacterial hand gel for several years now. I started using it because, as a diabetic I often have to inject myself when I am out. It's not always convenient to find somewhere to wash your hands so a little bottle of this in my bag does the job very well. I always use the Tesco Antibacterial Gel, its just 47p for a 50 ml bottle. An ideal size to have in your bag, desk draw or car. It comes in a clear plastic bottle with a flip top lid. The label is clear too with the words Tesco Antibacterial Hand Gel on the front. It claims to "kill 99.9% of bacteria and clean and refresh ... more

Advantages Advantages Kills 99.9% of bacteria, fast dry, no need for soap and water

Disadvantages Disadvantages Strong smell of alcohol, highly flammable

Tesco antibacterial hand gel, kills 99.9% of bacteria. This is such a handy little item to carry around in your bag, it comes in very handy so often. It cleans your hands and kills germs without the need for soap and water. It's cool and refreshing when you rub it in and it absorbs really quickly and isn't at all sticky. I work in a primary school and sometimes am called to work in the lunch canteen, in our school we have several children with severe food allergies, this product makes working meal times so much easier. Every time I open a yogurt for a child or peel a banana etc I can just ... more
