I bought this thinking it was just an ordinary bottle of flavoured water, but this was no ordinary water. This was Tesco Aqua Orange and Peach DETOX water made with spring water no less. I read the bottle in awe of the magical things it was ... ...:-
-Fructose to help maintain a healthy liver ( I think mine needs more than a bit of fructose after this weekend).
- Salts for helping rehydration.
All very well and good I thought as I opened it. It smelt like peaches and you could taste the peaches but there was no sign of the oranges. It was quite pleasant to drink and there was a taste to it (I've had some 'flavoured' waters only to find them rather lacking in flavour). ... more

I bought this thinking it was just an ordinary bottle of flavoured water, but this was no ordinary water. This was Tesco Aqua Orange and Peach DETOX water made with spring water no less. I read the bottle in awe of the magical things it was going to do to me. Apparently it contains the following :- -Fructose to help maintain a healthy liver ( I think mine needs more than a bit of fructose after this weekend).
It didn't taste too chemically so I was surprised to read how much c**p there was in it.
It contains MILK (urgh I'm glad I never read that before I drank it).

VERDICT
Did I feel detoxed? No, but felt a bit sick when I thought about the milk and lactose being in it. Would I buy it again? No probably not. It tasted ok but I think it was a bit expensive for what it was. It seems to be a bit of a con by cashing in on all that detox rubbish (feeling a little queezy again as I am now thinking about that Gillian McKeith woman). I think I'll stick to vimto in future.
