The Air Freshers come in a little packet on a card backing which is pretty standard nowadays. They have various smells but i opted for the vanilla as always. I have a habit of having a slightly smelly ar due to the dog and various fast food meal over the weeks. I wanted an air freshner that would cover up these smells but also one i could change often. I tried the Tesco Value Air Freshner as it was 69p for 2 in a packet. I thought for that price one a week would do!!
The Air Freshers come in a little packet on a card backing which is pretty standard nowadays. They have various smells but i opted for the vanilla as always. Unfortunately if i bought Vanilla i also got the second one as a floral scent which is much worse than the smell of McDonalds fries!! The Air Freshner itself is just a piece of card pumped full of scented liquid. the designs i ended up with were a very chavvy looking yellow smiley face like one from the days of acid house music and the floral one was a less than attractive blue and purple 'mess'.
The air freshners do not come with an option for slow release like on Magic Trees. All you can do it take them out of the packet and sting your eyes for the first few miles you drive. The scent of the vanilla was wonderful it masked all odours and i ws pretty happy, until the next day!! i got in the car and expected the same nice smell but instead was greeted with nothing. The scent had just gone.
At the end of the day 69p isnt too much to lose but i could of bought a Magic Tree for £1.49 which would last 10 times as long!
Advantages: Well, I did get it free. I guess that this is an advantage!!! Disadvantages: Little smell. Ineffective. Slightly pricey for what it is.
...getting it valued. When in Tesco I noticed that they were doing a special offer on their own brand car products, 3 for the price of 2. I only wanted washing stuff and polish, so for my bonus item I chose the Tesco own brand air freshener.
This particular product costs £2.99 on its own, which I personally find a little bit steep for what it is, although as a freebie as part of an offer, its better than a slap in the face with a wet fish!!! It is ... ...to be said about the Tesco Car Air Freshener. I wouldn't recommend it to people for the simple reason that I don't think it was particularly effective, and for a few pounds more, there are far better things out there such as a proper air freshening spray, or better still, cleaning out the inside of the car!! ...

Advantages: Cheap, and quick. Disadvantages: Only masks the smell.
...but the same thing marked Tesco Value for tem pence less, but this one is pretty good, so buy this one. This type of air freshener has been marketed for a lot of years, using different logos and pictures on the card. I have seen them being used for advertiising, and displaying pictures of scantilly clad women, and very nice too. The device is made to be hung from your rear view mirror or similar, and the fragrance is allowed to fill the cabin, thus ... ...get then from your local Tesco supermarket, they are also on sale in the forecourt shop. You could of course add one to your online shopping cart next time you order. See here for your nearest store:-

Personally, I would say that if you have an unwanted smell in your car, then you need to clean it out, not just mask the smell itself. I do however, recommend this item as it actually works. They are pretty good where cigarette ...
