Afternoon tea for 6!

Advantages: Light, fluffy, mosit, coconut isn't too overpowering.
Disadvantages: Not real chocolate decoration

Tesco Coconut Macaroons are a regular visitor to my house. The whole family love them and as there is only 6 in a packet, there is often a scramble for the last 2.

A pack of 6 coconut macaroons (200gms) will set you back 85p.

Each coconut macaroon is approx 8cm in diameter. They are made using rice paper on the underside with chocolate flavoured decoration zig-zagging across the top.

All in all, 85p for six coconut macaroons from tesco is not that I don't think. They may not be the healthiest option around but we certainly like them. I would give them a try if you're not sure, it's not like they cost a fortune.

To be blunt, the packaging is nothing special, but as I am more interested in the contents, I don't mind! Each pack contains six circular macaroons, each measures approximately 3.25 inches across. **Ingredients, nutritional info and allergy advice** The ingredients, nutritional information and allergy warnings are listed on the rear of the packet. A taste of Paradise

Advantages: Great for coconut lovers
Disadvantages: quite sweet

For lovers of coconut it is delightful. I buy them every week for my family. When I scan for them on the cake shelf no matter what I always find them. The packaging isn't that appealing, bit boring really but they always seem to catch my attention. Maybe the packaging could look a bit more tropical because lets face it just mentioning the word coconut makes one think of paradise and palm trees. They still taste great though. The moist coconut and ...
...quite chewy. Its well worth getting the bits of coconut in your teeth for. What is really good is that they are just great with coffee, a real mid-morning treat. Also great for picnics and school packed lunches because they don't melt like a lot of chocolate bars. The only down point I would say is that they are fairly sweet and the fat content of each one is 6.2g, which is quite high but a small price to pay for a piece of tropical paradise. ...
