... Before we started the diet we used to eat far too much, we binged on things like cakes, one of my favourites being the Tesco's Custard Slices. I never had a custard slice until I met my boyfriend and he bought some one evening, I tried one and I was instantly hooked. The packaging of these ... Read review

Sickly Sweet Tasty Treats Review with images

AdvantagesTasty, cheap

DisadvantagesSickly sweet

"...is very similar to the Tesco Ready to Eat Custard, but far stodgier. Now if you are thinking of heading down to Tesco to buy some lovely custard slices, I should tell you they are found in the refrigerated section, with all the other lovely cream cakes. Like the rest of the products in the range, the custard slices come on a plastic tray, inside a cardboard box. You may find that, en route back home, the custard slices may squish slightly against the clear plastic window on the front, but this is nowhere near ..." Read review

"I have just discovered the wonderful world that is shopping in Tesco. Perhaps at the moment everything is just novel however I have found so many new delightful products that were not available in my previous supermarket. As it is now my local so to speak I will be reviewing bits and bobs that take my fancy over the next few weeks. Shopping the other day I felt like a cake with my afternoon cup of tea and I discovered a pack of rather delicious looking ..." Read review
