I work in an office with huge windows which makes the temperature quite difficult to control as in the winter, it is freezing cold, but in the summer, you get the effect of a greenhouse which means it is like an oven in our office. Last summer, we decided to get a fan which we could place on a chair in front of our desks so it gave us a nice cool breeze. I bought this desk fan from Tesco’s about two years ago and it cost me £9.99. I get hot in the night and in the summer months even with windows open I get uncomfortable while I am in bed and I need a nice draught on my face. I had had a smaller fan but I needed a bigger one. That is why I bought this one. It is a good size and it has two speed settings. I always put it o the fastest speed setting at night when I go to bed. It makes the curtains move but I don’t mind.
