Advantages It's lasted a while
Disadvantages It's noisy and now it's fallen to bits

I bought this desk fan from Tesco’s about two years ago and it cost me £9.99. I get hot in the night and in the summer months even with windows open I get uncomfortable while I am in bed and I need a nice draught on my face. I had had a smaller fan but I needed a bigger one. That is why I bought this one.It is a good size and it has two speed settings. I always put it o the fastest speed setting at night when I go to bed. It makes the curtains move but I don’t mind. The slower speed setting is no good for me.
It was a nice looking smart fan when it was new and it is in white with the buttons to press on the bottom. It is simple and easy to use and it came with instructions. I have used it every night. One night though I got a shock when the front blew off so now there is no grill and I cannot get it back on. The screws fell out at the side and it won’t clip in, it has to be screwed in I am told and without the right sized screws I won’t be able to do this. It was a noisy fan when it was new but now the grille has blown off it is even noisier and this keeps me awake at night as it seems to vibrate through the laminate flooring. The fan size is 9 inches and it is portable so I can move it around from room to room if I wanted to but I tend to only use it at night when I go to bed. I think it's dangerous now the front bit has come off so I have to be careful if it is switched on and I lean over in my nighdress, in case it gets caught on the fans.
I am disappointed the grille fell off but I think this is due to wear and tear so I still do recommend it to you.
