Tesco is the main supermarket brand in my area so when I moved here about 18mths ago I became a Tesco customer.
Along with instore incentives like the tesco clubcard £1=1 point they also offer exclusive deals online too for insurance such as home/car etc.
They often offer additional points to boost voucher values such as double points and I spent £6 on ink the other week and instead of 6 points I got 206 a bonus of 200 or £2 (this pushed my points upto 500 which meant I was sent a £5 voucher that could then be doubled up instore or online at Tesco direct to the value of £10.00, considering you are spending money on shopping and other goods anyway the points/vouchers are an added bonus as generally the prices at tesco are often fairly decent.
Tesco offer clubcard points and gift vouchers as incentives to purchase from store, so obviously it is better if you live locally to a tesco store however Tesco Direct their online store offers a whole range of products and services and they accept vouchers here too for example if you purchase car insurance you will get a £40 gift voucher plus the amount of points added to your clubcard (if you have one) which if was £500 you would get 500 points or a £5 voucher which could be worth £10 in store or online at Tesco direct. So if the premium sits well with others it may be a really good deal.
Importantly I have always received my discounts & clubcard vouchers very quickly including additional money off vouchers & opportunities to grab extra points. When I took out home insurance the cashback cheque came through very prompt and when they made an error with the clubcard points ie they forgot to add them they sent me a gift voucher worth more than the points would have been worth (without me saying anything)
Definitely worth a look & if you do shop with them or feel like giving them a try then make sure you get yourself a tesco clubcard
