We ordered a mattress that was listed as being in stock at the warehouse and due for delivery next day. 12 days later the mattress was still not delivered. Tescodirect never responded to my emails trying to find out what was happening with the delivery and I ended up having to call their premium rate telephone line on several occasions to try to get to the bottom of it. No one ever called me back and I ended up ringing again and again. Its one way for them to make more money I suppose! We received a text after 8 days to say the mattress would be delivered 4 days later, but it failed to turn up after I waited in all day for it. In the end they told me that the mattress had still not been despatched as the supplier said they had not received the order. After 12 days of waiting I cancelled the order and asked for compensation for the cost of phone calls and wasted time. Yet to see any of the money returned to my bank account as this will take at least another 3 days. I will never use Tesco or Tesco Direct again
