Advantages Inexpensive and tasty

Disadvantages None

Review summary
This is a good basic family marmalade that should suit everyone. It is not specialist in any way or niche market and is just what most people expect from an everyday marmalade. However I do not think it tastes 'cheap', which is what I found with the Tesco Value one.
---Why I Bought This---

Like a lot of people I have a bit of a sweet tooth but do not buy cakes or biscuits, but still would like a little 'sweet' treat now and again with my cup of tea - so I have started back buying various different marmalades so that I can have it on toast as a little tasty snack.

---The Brand---

Produced for Tesco - mid range - not Value/Everyday but also not the Premium brand.

---The Product---

454 grams in standard recyclable glass jar with black metal lid.
Attractive front label with images of lots of oranges.
Fine cut orange shred marmalade.
A tablespoon cotains 39 calories and 9.3 grams of sugar.
Produced in the UK for Tesco.
Suitable for vegetarians.
Once opened store in refridgerator and use within 6 weeks of opening.
Long shelf life - mine is up to March 2014.
20% of fruit per 100 grams and 65% of sugar.

---Cost---

53p (as compared to £1.24 for Robertsons).
Contents ratio of fruit/suger per gram are pretty much the same as the Everyday Value Marmalade at 27p.

Tesco Fine Cut Marmalade
---My Opinion---

This orange marmalade does not have much of an aroma when you open the lid, which was a little disappointing. The colour is a nice orange and the texture is well set. However once I put the marmalade onto my toast I was pleasantly surprised by the taste whch was very good. It is sweet and orangy which is what you would expect from a normal marmalade. The peel is only very small thin pieces so it is not off-putting if you do not like much peel in your marmalade.
My previous jar of marmalade was Robertsons which was over double the price and I do not think there is hardly any difference in the taste and I will be quite happy to continue buying this for 53p rather than the Robertsons for £1.24.
