Mmmm, wine
Advantages look nice and cheap
Disadvantages none at all
We do love our wine in our house and me and my other half usually enjoy a glass or two of wine most evenings once we get the little lad off to sleep. We enjoy both red and white but we do seem to have a few problems with some of the flimsier wine glasses which seem to be popular at the moment as the stems are not very thick and they tend to break or get smashed or damaged when they get washed.
We bought a cardboard box from Tesco with four of their own range (Tesco Finest) for just £4, which works out at just one pound each, which we thought was a good bargain. They are a standard height, of about seven inches and the stem is a proper stem, by that I mean it doesn't liik as thin as spiders legs and you don't worry about it snapping off. Each glass holds 300ml of wine and they are just very plain glasses with no pattern on them at all, which is what we were after.
These glasses are dishwasher safe and come out undamaged and looking lovely and clean and sparkling and ready for the next glass. They are big enough to hold a decent enough amount of wine so you don't have to go traipsing back to the kitchen for another refill - well, not much anyway. All in all a good product which we are very happy with.
