    Another my series of opinions on ready made diet meals (I have given up counting). I am using the following rating system: excellent, good, average, not so good and bad. I just thought I’d mention (in case anyone thought I am a naturally healthy eater) that although I do try and eat low calorie main courses, it is actually to compensate for my very sweet tooth.     This is my favourite of the tesco ready meals i have tasted. Perhaps this is because i love pasta, and chicken, or maybe it's because they've been so perfectly combined in this fantastic meal. The meal consists of chicken, which there is a good amount of, and it's well sized too, pasta, which is in abundance, bechamel sauce, and breadcrumb topping. There are also vegetables contained withing the meal, but they are not that dominant , and pretty insignificant in the scale of things.     The term healthy eating for these meals is so bogus its untrue. You think right away how great they are. After all you couldnt make this from scratch, for the same calories etc - EXACTLY!! Right then you wonder how they do it, and what they add to it. These meals are extremely high in sodium and fat to make up for the lower calories. A box of these is around 356 calories, is 89p, for 450g ( tho normally within a buy 5 for £4 offer). Once you take the cardboard away, these are small portions as well. Good for diets once or maybe twice a week but be warned, you will be starving minutes after ... more
