Advantages: Cheap, Reliable Disadvantages: Tesco Value
...If you have read my recent reviews or "About Me" info you will know that I recently moved in with my boyfriend. We started with nothing, we had to buy everything from a bed to a fridge freezer and of course this included an iron. We didn't have much money to spend as we weren't planning to move in together just yet, but when an excellent little house came along we had to go for it. Obviously an iron wasn't my main priority but I did need one, so Tesco Value seemed ideal.
*THE HISTORY OF TESCO*
To most of us it seems Tesco has been around forever but what you may not realise is that this huge supermarket chain which is now taking over the world was started in London's east end by a single man, Jack Cohen. Advantages: plenty of tools and good suction Disadvantages: very heavy 10.3kg.
...This vacuum had lots of tools including a turbo brush. On delivery the turbo brush worked for a few seconds and then stopped. I rang tesco who said that you are unable to get spare parts for this machine and they would have to send a replacement vacuum.
This means that after the 1 year warranty runs out, that even if the fan belt snaps, you could be left with with an irrepairable cleaner.
In its details it does'nt tell you the weight but at 10.3kg its 2kg heavier than the dyson which I already thought was heavy.
The cord is 10m long which seems to be the longest on the market.
Tesco are very helpful and will exchange or refund your money if you are'nt happy within 14 days....

Advantages: cheap, makes a cup of tea Disadvantages: none
...Our kettle packed in not so long ago, so i went out and bought one from tesco, i did'nt want to spend a lot on one as it only gets used to make cups of tea and this one was a bargain at £4.66.
This tesco value cordless jug kettle comes in a white box with the tesco value written in blue along the top with a picture of the kettle in the centre of the box, nice and simple !!
The kettle itself is white and clearly states min/max level of water it is a 2.2kw and will hold 1.7L of water.
It has several safety features: an auto cut of switch so that your kettle flics off when the water has boiled to the right temperature.
it also has a boil dry safety device whitch will turn the kettle off if there is insufficiant water in there if this happens leave the kettle to cool for a while so that the thermostat can reset itself.
this kettle also...

I received my HD DVD player one week ago.
For this reason you may want to check out the durability of the item from other sources but so far so good for me. It appears to be very well made and so I would guess that it is going to last.
First things more
We are moving into our first house in the next few weeks and my wife just got a new job so we decided to spoil ourselves a bit and upgrade our Home Entertainment System.
Before going on to the actual review I would just like to mention a few things... more
