Advantages Advantages Cheap, work quickly, offer great pain relief.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not suitable for children under the age of 12 years.

When it comes to pain, I see no point in coping with it at all. Why put yourself through torture when there are ways to make it all go away? There's nothing macho or heroic about fighting your own way through any sort of pain when you could so easily take a painkiller and get on with your day without putting yourself through such agony! I suffer frequently from headaches, migraines, crippling period pains and in the winter always end up with aching joints (and I'm only 22!), so finding a painkiller which works for me and doesn't cost the earth has been a must! I used to pay over the odds for ... more

Tesco Ibuprofen I started buying Tesco’s own brand of Ibuprofen a few years ago. I always like to have a pack in the house, just in case I get a headache or start to feel a cold coming on. In the past, I have bought named brands and always been very pleased with their results. When I started to buy Tesco’s brand I was sceptical but I was willing to try them, as they are so much cheaper. I was surprised at how well the tablets worked. I could not tell the difference between them and other more expensive tablets. For me, they were just as well and are only a fraction of the price. The tablets ... more

We all get aches and pains from time to time so finding a good hard working pain killer is a must. I always used to buy the branded named pain killers thinking that they would be a better quality but fortunately I watched a program on the different types of tablets some months ago and it showed me that the cheaper brands were just as good, if not better and had the same properties making them up so I decided to switch to the cheaper versions. I am happy to say I have always had just as good results from using them. I do shop in Tesco so I chose the Tesco Ibuprofen tablets. They come in a ... more

I like to try and save the old pennies as and when I can like I suppose a lot of people do. Because of this a while back I decided that rather than opting for the more expensive pain relief products such as nurofen I would go for Tesco’s own ibuprofen. Costing only 41p for 16 tablets (at date of review, 05/10/2011) this is in my eyes quite a large saving compared to the cost of other similar products. This ibuprofen claims to provide effective pain relief for rheumatic and muscular pain, backache, nerve pain, headache, migraine, dental pain, period pain, fever and for the relief of the ... more
