“Pain Free For Only 4p!”

published 16/11/2010

Cheap, work quickly, offer great pain relief.

Not suitable for children under the age of 12 year...

When it comes to pain, I see no point in coping with it at all. Why put yourself through torture when there are ways to make it all go away? There's nothing macho or heroic about fighting your own way through any sort of pain when you could so easily take a painkiller and get on with your day...

Cheap & effective.

None.

Tesco Ibuprofen I started buying Tesco’s own brand of Ibuprofen a few years ago. I always like to have a pack in the house, just in case I get a headache or start to feel a cold coming on. In the past, I have bought named brands and always been very pleased with their results. When I started to...

“Cheap yet Effective”

published 08/11/2010

Cheap, work very well, easy to swallow

Nothing

We all get aches and pains from time to time so finding a good hard working pain killer is a must. I always used to buy the branded named pain killers thinking that they would be a better quality but fortunately I watched a program on the different types of tablets some months ago and it showed...

cheap and effective

I unfortunately suffer from migraines and from time to time I need to take painkillers and sleep them off. I always keep painkillers in the house for safety, just in case I need them. I decided to try out the Tesco Brand Ibuprofen because they were recommended to me by a work colleague who also...

Effective, cheap, useful to have around

None really

I have always had an issue with my joints and recently I managed to somehow dislocate my thumb joint in my right hand and have minor tendonitis in my wrist joint. My Mum recommended I take ibuprofen to help tackle the inflamation in my wrist and so on my next visit to the store, I picked up a box...

Everyone at work calls me a pharmacist as I have every kind of drug going! Nurofen express, Boots paracetemol and codeine tablets, Nurofen migraine - you have it I name it. It's not even that I get headaches often, but I hate when a sneaky one creeps up on me during the day and I have nothing to...

Gets rid of pain, easy to swallow, low price.

Not suitable for everyone.

Price and Availability As with pretty much every household we always have a supply of pain relief products in the cupboard for those times when we have aches and pains. When it comes to pain relief it's very rare that I will buy a branded product, usually opting for shops own brands as I've...

“Eliminates my knee pain”

published 17/03/2012

Easy to swallow, effective, cheap

None

The last 5 or so years, I’ve had horrible problems with my knees dislocating often, after having an op on each knee the dislocations have stopped, but I still suffer from aches and pains in my knees if I’ve been crossing my legs or kneeling. I’ve found that ibuprofen is a good way to ease these...

“Cheap Pain Relief”

published 05/10/2011

cheap, effective

none for me

I like to try and save the old pennies as and when I can like I suppose a lot of people do. Because of this a while back I decided that rather than opting for the more expensive pain relief products such as nurofen I would go for Tesco’s own ibuprofen. Costing only 41p for 16 tablets (at date of...

Just recently I was suffering from a headache at work and found myself caught short without any tablets in my make-up bag. I spoke to one of my colleagues and was handed a strip of 8 ibuprofen tablets from Tesco. I was so grateful and promptly took two of these to get them working as quickly as...

In the past, I have suffered from migraines - they were only occasional and not what you would call severe and therefore I saw no point in going to the doctors for it to get any treatment. In order to tackle them, I merely used to use these ibuprofen tablets and they really seemed to take the...

“Pain free for 28p!”

published 07/03/2011

Price, they work

None

We always have a packet of these in the cupboard. The main reason we buy this brand is the price - they cost just 28p for 16 tablets where the Anadin equivalent costs £1.40. We actually buy the round tablet version of these but there are plenty of other options available such as the caplets shown...

Tesco Ibuprofen Cols and flu tablets What is the product? Tesco Ibuprofen tablets are a small white coated tablet which i find very easy to swallow. I always have my medicine cabinet stocked up with paracetamol and ibuprofen as there is nothing worse than having a headache (or other form of pain) and nothing to take for it. In truth, ibuprofen works better for me personally and it is something that I certainly noticed during pregnancy when I...
