Anybody who drives a car knows that choosing car insurance is laborious and time consuming. You can ring round loads of insurance companies and brokers only to find that they are all charging far more than you want to pay.
I had the same problem. It came round to that time of year again – a renewal notice arrived from my old insurance company and my car insurance had gone up by nearly a hundred pounds. I didn’t know why; I hadn’t had any accidents and my no claims bonus had reached four years.
I too set about the search for my next insurance company. I searched on the web spending lots of time filling in long and complicated forms only to find they were even more expensive. I tried Computer Quote, Lloyds and Direct Line to name but a few. I was quoted anything from £600 to £1000. I had nearly despaired when I went shopping at Tesco’s and saw an advert for their car insurance. When I got home I logged onto their web site, filled in the questionnaire, which was easy to use, and within a few minutes had a quote that saved me nearly two hundred pounds. I paid £297 when every other company wanted to charge me at least £500!!
I would recommend Tesco Car Insurance to anyone. The web site is easy to use and very straightforward. The form was simple to fill in, the quote was instant and you can pay online. My documents arrived the next day; all I had to do was sign them and return a copy in a prepaid envelope. The savings for me were fantastic and I’m sure they could be for others too. Next year I will still look around at different insurance companies as I think it always pays to get several prices but I doubt they will be able to compete with Tesco.

They are great aren't they? - following two bumps, one silly, the other not so silly or remotely funny, I was struggling to get a good quote, and saved nearly £1500 through Tesco - although from some of my younger colleagues at work, I believe they are not quite to welcoming to younger people.

Tesco gave us the lowest quote by far so we're with them now as well BUT we insured it on Saturday, it's Thursday now and the policy still hasn't arrived!
