I drive quite a sporty car and being quite young, as you can imagine is quite high! It were up for renewal and came through at over £1000 per year with the company I were with at the time.
I shopped at Tesco's anyway so decided to go online and see if they could save me any money! Tesco managed to save me over £300 on my car insurance and on top of that I saved an extra 5% when applying online.
I could not believe it. All I can say is I would definately have a word with Tesco when your car insurance is up for renewal, regardless of what sort of car you drive.
I know that Tesco has also saved a few of my friends on their insurance!

Martin, Congratulations on getting your permium down by £300!! I am with Tsco Motor Insurance too! Just wondered you didn't say what sort of insurance you got? Comprehensive? Third Party only? and "crucial" question is the excess the same as on your previous Insurance Policy?? Thats how sometimes Insurances look cheap but you find that in event of an accident you have to pay a compulsory excess + a voluntary excess! Well done though on Tesco's quote! If you do add any more details to this or edit later on leave me a note! - Enjoy! -CH (PS. what sporty car do you drive??)
