my husband was insured with another company while we had a vectra but then I wanted to learn to drive but I felt I could only drive an auto so we went to the loacal garage and I chose my 1st car being a rover 216. I'm 20 years old and only have a provisional licence but my husband has had his licence 9 years but had a ban in 2000. We called his previous insurance company and was quoted £80 a month third party.So I started to shop around for motor insurance and picked up a leaflet in tescos, we gave them a call and was quoted £40 a month fully comp with both of us on the insurance and also got £40 cash back so we accepted. The service was very quick, we chose the car on a thurs, called tesco's on the Friday and I picked my car up on the saturday. Tescos has a lot of benefits other than car insurance they do insurance for homes and pets too and if you have a clubcard you can get a discount on your insurance.
