    Cheap and easy to useWhen my microwave broke my mum was kind enough to give me her old one to use until I got around to buying myself a new one. She told me not to expect anything fancy as it was only a Tesco value one but as a single man I rely far too much on my microwave so I was grateful to receive it no matter how ugly it might be in my kitchen.     I have recently had my kitchen redecorated and I decided that it was time to upgrade my old microwave as it was quite large and bulky and taking up a lot of room on my kitchen side.     I'm quite a regular microwave-user, using it mainly for porridge, hot drinks and defrosting and reheating meals that I've cooked in bulk and frozen in single portions. When my old model broke I decided to buy a small, inexpensive no-frills microwave, and eventually settled upon the Tesco Value MM08 model. The first thing that attracted me to this microwave was the price. As I only use mine for basic tasks, I wasn't particularly bothered about getting an expensive one with lots of fancy features, so at around £30 this was ideal.
