    Advantages Advantages They do taste of fish, and have a crispy coating

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Taste more like tuna than cod to me

    The supermarkets vegetarian ranges have always focused on producing merat free equivalents of traditional favourites such as sausages and cottage pie. Recently it seem that they have become more adventurous. Sadly this doesn't mean that they are producing imaginative always-meant-to-be-vegetarian dishes. Instead they have started producing meat-free equivalents of a greater range of foods. At the moment several brands are producing fish flavoured offerings. I have bought a few out of sheer curiousity, and one of these is Tesco's Meat Free Fishless Fingers. Intended to be veggie fish fingers ... more
