All of the nappies in their Ultra Range (they also have a much cheaper Value range which I wouldn’t personally trust) are Unisex, and coloured white. The only pattern on them is a small design along the top of the front part of the nappy, which has little teddy bears and the alphabet on it. The fastening works the same ...

Advantages: Cheap and absorbent Disadvantages: none
...again. I`ve used tesco value nappies when we`ve been a bit strapped for cash, but generally I stay well clear of these because they are an absolute waste of money. You can normally tell the value nappies from a dearer brand because they have those so-called resealable tabs that don`t like to reseal. You know the ones I mean, not the velcro type, but the ones that work like sellotape that`s been left in the rain.
They are also not very absorbing ... ...brands I decided to give tesco another try. This time I walked straight past the value packets, giving them a little sneer as I went past, and headed for the purple corner. Now purple is my favourite colour, so I was instantly pleased before even trying tesco`s own name nappies.
Once again that nasty aroma lifted my head away from the computer monitor. Yes, it`s nappy time again. These nappies were a much more pleasant experience for myself and ...

Advantages: good sizes cheap Disadvantages: they leak
...the name of science.
Tesco along with Asda are probably one of the biggest supermarket chains around so you'd think there own brand nappies would be super duper great well i'm sorry to burst that bubble but through my experience or rather my son's i would say they are rubbish.
The nappies cost me £4.17 for a packet of 30 nappies they come in a purple packet with large wording saying super fit they claim that they fit and absorb as well as the leading ... ...story.
Since buying the tesco nappie i have had several sleepless nights with josh the main reason the nappie.
Take last night for instance Joshua was restless alnight at 4 am this morning he woke up screaming and inconsolable, i picked him up to see what the problem was i found that he was wet through it was up the entire front of his pjs but not the back.

Advantages: Cheap, Adequate Designs Disadvantages: Some Kinds Leak
...a turn-around in opinion regarding Tesco Nappies of late. Previously I was the first to jump in raving about how "blooming useless" they all were. However I recently realised that it's because of the type of nappy I'd previously tried and have discovered a perfectly good alternative in recent weeks.
I first used Tesco nappies when my son was a newborn and found them acceptable for use during the day but problematic at night. I put my son in reusables ... ...picked up a pack of Tesco Super Fit not realising they offered any alternatives. At £3 a pack less than Huggies I didn't expect them to be as good but I did expect them to keep my baby dry at least. Unfortunately I found my baby was soaking wet in less than two hours wearing these. In fact I was so mortified I took them back to the shop having only used five. When the customer services worker asked me why I wanted to return them I simply said "because ...

Advantages: Price, work as well as pampers! Disadvantages: None
...couple of packets of the Tesco branded ones just to try them out and make a decision.
THE PACKAGING
I have to admit I almost picked up the Tesco branded nappies thinking they were Pampers as the packaging is almost identical! The packet is yellow with a picture of a baby on and the sizes are written in bold so there are no mistakes. These are the newborn size which is for babies weighing between 4-11lbs, so for my little one who was 5lb 12oz to ... ...comes folded into a square which makes for easy storage and this also ensures the inside part does not get anything in which may annoy your baby. At first I thought they felt quite rigid like cardboard but once you open it up and bend it the nappy loosens up ready to take the shape of your baby's bottom!
The nappies are all white but each has a little character on the front (which is great to let you know which is the front!) like a sheep or bear ...

Advantages: cheaper and same value as other leading brands Disadvantages: none
...I have tried several of the leading brands of nappies as follows: Pampers, Huggies, Asda and Tesco's own brand.
The main brand I used was Tesconappies on a regular basis, that was until I tried the nappies from Lidls.
I recelty went on holiday wand could not find a local Tesco store. I came across a Lidls and decided to try their nappies for a change.
The pack of nappies was cheaper than my normal brand and also had an extra 6 nappies in the pack.
I was doubtful and thought the price reflected the value but I was competely wrong.
The nappies from Lidls are of excellent high standards and have convinced me to change to them for future use.
They have a high quality elasticated back and elastic around the legs. There was no leakage and it absorbed well leaving my daughter dry and rash free.
The value for money is fantastic and you...

Advantages: Keeps most of the smell in Disadvantages: Can be expensive
...For the uninitiated Nappy Sacks are are fragranced plastic bags with tie handles for the disposal of nappies. They seem to be available in a range of colours from peach to blue to white, but they all seem to have exactly the same smell!!
I have recently discovered that Nappy Sacks is a brand name and therefore TescoNappy Sacks are the same as Somerfield Nappy Sacks etc. This explains the similar smell!!
You can find Nappy Sacks in the baby aisle of most shops, they usually come in boxes of 75 or 100, and they sell for around £1.45. Some shops now sell Value range nappy bags, which are cheaper (100 for 62p from Tesco).
WHY BOTHER?
Many people don't see the point of these bags, as all you do is put rubbish in them and then put them in the bin. A fair point you might say, however......
-a smelly nappy sat in the kitchen bin will stink...
