My first thought was £1.99 for that? The box is incredibly small compared to all the other chicken nuggets.
The packaging was OK. The colour is a bit drab. (All Tesco's organic ... ...good with clear info as to salt content etc.
So, the next thing was to take them home and cook them.
I have horrid memories of chicken nuggets from when my step daughter was small. (I think she would have lived on them if allowed) so was not looking forward to trying them, but obviously I'm not going to let my son eat something I haven't tried.

I am not really into processed foods and generally make everything from scratch but with a young son, I was really starting to feel stressed by cooking three meals a day. My health visitor suggested I take a few 'short cuts' but as we only eat free range and organic meat, I am a bit limited, so she told me about these. They were a total nightmare to find. The coating, which had cooked to a lovely pale gold, was perfectly crisp and light. The chicken itself was reformed, not whole, which was a disappointment but did indeed taste of chicken. There were only about 15 nuggets in the box which meant that they are quite pricey in my opinion but at £1.99, not exactly off the scale. I was wholeheartedly prepared to HATE these but I actually do buy them every now and again as an easy lunch for my little boy.
