Advantages They are good value and last a long time
Disadvantages I canot get them any more now
I bought myself a lot of packs of the Tesco’s on brand light bulbs while I could, because I had heard that was going to have to use those terrible energy efficient ones and that the shops wouldn’t be selling the ordinary light bulbs any more. These are Tesco’s own and they are the bayonet fitting rather than the screw cap fitting. They came in packs of two and they are 60 watts, which I prefer.
I think the 60 watt bulbs are far better than the 100 watt ones because those are far too bright, I find and also the forty watt ones are just not bright enough for me. I am able to read perfectly fine with the 60 watt ones. These lovely bulbs cost me only £2 for both bulbs and I am finding that they are lasting me a long time. I have stock piled a lot of boxes and I keep these underneath my kitchen stairs in the cupboard. One bulb will last me a very long time even though I use my lights very regularly and I think this is because these Tesco ones are a very good quality.I like these particular lights because they are a pearl light and I find this a better kind of light because I think it is diffused better and is not so glaring. The bayonet fitting is very easy to fit myself into my lamps and I never have any bother with them at all. The light bulbs are slightly smaller than the ones I had bought from Tesco’s before but the fitting is exactly the same and the amount of light they shed is also just the same.
I am very pleased with the lovely bulbs and I ma glad I bought so many boxes .I recommends them to you.
